Baby On Board

Book name: Baby On Board

Author: Sonia Sahijwani Saini

Rating:4/5

MY TAKE:

This book is my second book by Sonia and it is her pregnancy story and in this book, she talks about the steps, believes & myths, experiences and Research Research done pre and post-pregnancy by her that should be considered by soon to be mums or new mums to make a difference in this whole journey of emotions. The author spoke about her journey from the beginning- how she was scared at first, how she planned each and everything by researching about every bit of it herself and how later how her fear turned into happiness with the constant support of her husband.

That been said this book is a perfect read for not only women but men too. I truly enjoyed this book and wanted more of it. I loved her journey as an ordinary couple during pregnancy. I loved it so much that I gifted this book to my sister who's soon expecting to be a mother. she was so happy that I gifted her baby on board. She even made my brother-in-law read it.

Thank you Sonia for talking about it.

WHY YOU SHOULD READ IT:

- The plot is really unique and interesting.

- It's a well-engraved pregnancy journey.

- It's an easy-breezy read and the language used is also easy going.

- It's mandatory for every couple to read this book.

ABOUT BOOK:

To start with, this is my story. For many years I tried to delay and escape from the inevitable. For months thereafter, I was persistently persuaded by my near and dear ones. Finally, in late 2017, (yes I planned the year and almost the month as well), I finally took the plunge and entered the phase of ‘Motherhood’, albeit, with a lot of anxiety and fears. This is the journey of someone who literally suffered from Tokophobia-(fear of childbirth) since she was young but ultimately & contrary to popular perception, it became the biggest and most wonderful challenge of her life.
