Book name: Diondray's Roundabout
Author: Marion Hill
Rating: 4.4/5
MY TAKE:
Diondray's roundabout is the last book in the Diondray's Chronicles series and this makes me sad because a series so interesting should not end. but as we know all good things have a definite end. This book was my favorite among the three and the best part about this series is that you can pick any one of these and you will feel how self-contained they are. I think the writing style of Marion has grown with each book and it's crystal clear.
Diondray's Roundabout is the third book in the Diondray's Chronicles fantasy series, continuing the story begun in previous books about what happens when Diondray Azur discovers the sacred Book of Kammbi, which leads him to a renewed sense of purpose in his life and a spiritual quest to find his place in a wider world than he was raised to believe in.
WHY YOU SHOULD READ THIS BOOK:
- The book is full of unfolding drama.
- The narration and Plot are well-paced.
- The discoveries in this book are worth appreciating, the truth are very subtly and smoothly revealed.
- The turn of events are well described.
BLURB:
Diondray's Roundabout is the third book in the Diondray's Chronicles fantasy series, continuing the story begun in previous books about what happens when Diondray Azur discovers the sacred Book of Kammbi, which leads him to a renewed sense of purpose in his life and a spiritual quest to find his place in a wider world than he was raised to believe in.
Here Diondray struggles against seemingly everyone who doesn't believe in his newfound sacred calling and the prophecy which indicates he will be the one to bring peace to a divided land.
After being rejected by the North, he journeys to the South, where he has hopes of recognition, accompanied by two of the companions from his previous encounters. But the South is truly an alien land to him, with its different culture, belief systems and values, and even more closed minds about Diondray.
