Silent Screams

Book name: Silent Screams Author: Zachary Ryan Rating: 3.5/5 MY TAKE: The readers here, get to read about a very tragic incident which changed the lives of a group of friends forever. So, there are a lot of characters in the book but the centre characters are Lane, Zachary, Ben and Cass. These teenagers are hell confused about what's happening in their lives, they all have a thing they are hiding from one another, they all are dealing with things they can't communicate about. Basically, they are messed up! ------ The book sleeves almost every issue young people are going through these days, which is good but, the book might leave you in a different mood- where you would feel not everything is what it seems appears to be. Silent Screams is definitely different from what I thought it would be, but I don't regret reading it. I read it like three days ago and I am still thinking about it and this Speaks a lot about the book itself! ------ WHY YOU SHOULD READ THIS BOOK: - The book is gonna teach you how important our actions are-how important it is to held one accountable for that. - It will also make you learn where to draw a line- where right and wrong Becomes blur. -This book is written from multiple point of views, hence, making it a different experience for every reader.

AUTHOR SPEAKS: "My name is Zachary Ryan. I’m the author of the new young adult novel “Silent Screams.” The idea of this novel came from a song by Katie Turner called “Prom Queen.” There was a line from the song “an applause that was never meant for me.” I created the character Zachary off that line. She’s trying her hardest to deal with the fact that she can’t be on the theatre stage anymore. I then thought of Lane who is dealing with being secretly gay and tries to stay below the radar. Cass who is trying to deal with betrayal from her boyfriend plus a hard home life. Finally Ben is dealing with going from top alpha to the bottom of the barrel. He’s dealing with trying to figure his place in the world. Finally, they’re dealing with the aftermath of a school shooting that was caused by their best friend. Each of them have to process how to move forward with their lives. My favorite hobbies are going out with my husband, my friends, and just making memories. I love binge watching TV, reading terrible romance novels, and eating all the terrible foods. "
